Amersfoort, 27 February 2026 – Envipco Holding N.V. (“Envipco” or “the Company”), a leading global provider of recycling systems and Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) technology, has been chosen as the exclusive supplier of RVMs to an Iberian retail group.

According to the agreement Envipco will deliver RVMs to the retail group’s stores across Portugal. RVMs will be sold with service agreements. Anticipated volumes are expected to be up to 200 RVMs. Delivery on the agreement is expected over the next 12 months.

Portugal is set to become the 19th European country to implement a DRS for beverage containers, with the official launch scheduled for 10 April 2026. The system will introduce a deposit value of EUR 0.10 per container, applicable to single-use PET and aluminum containers under three liters. SDR Portugal, a non-profit entity supported by over two dozen companies from the beverage and retail industries, is responsible for operating the DRS. The primary goal of the system is to achieve a 90% collection rate by 2029.
