Weldmatic manufactures balconies for Fasadgruppen’s existing subsidiary Altana, among other customers. The production facility in Ringsted combines traditional forging craftmanship with robot technology, enabling high productivity and quality, and a good working environment. The company is run by two entrepreneurs and has exhibited profitable growth since its inception. Weldmatic has 11 full-time employees, and for the financial year 2022, its revenues amounted to approximately DKK 27 million.

The Danish balcony market is exciting with good conditions for growth over time."

Fasadgruppen is using existing cash to finance the acquisition. The seller has undertaken to re-invest part of the purchase price by acquiring existing shares in Fasadgruppen within the next three months for an amount corresponding to DKK 5 million. The shares bought under the re-investment are subject to a lock-up commitment for 36 months. The acquisition of Weldmatic is expected to be completed in July 2023.
