Fasadgruppen to merge its scaffolding subsidiaries Rapid and Robust

Fasadgruppen’s subsidiary Robust Hyrställningar will be merged with the subsidiary Rapid Hyrställning, with the purpose of creating an efficient scaffolding business with strong market position in the Mälardalen area.
The business will be run under the name Rapid Hyrställning and have depots in Eskilstuna, Jordbro and Bålsta. Its services comprise scaffolding, climbing platforms and weather protection. To create additional customer value, logistics support is also offered around the workplaces where Rapid can handle services such as lifts, alarms, sheds and transports.
Rapid's customers include companies in areas such as construction, industry, painting and roofing. Magnus Karlsson, who is currently CEO of Rapid Hyrställning, continues in the same role for the merged company. In the financial year 2020, Rapid's and Robust's joint revenues amounted to roughly SEK 103 million.
Peter Polland, Business Area Manager Fasadgruppen East said: “Through the combination of Rapid and Robust, we are creating an efficient and strong scaffolding business in the Mälardalen area. It will also have capacity to serve customers in other parts of Sweden – including the other subsidiaries of Fasadgruppen."
The merger is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2021.
