Fasadgruppen's subsidiary BYENS TAG & FACADE A/S has signed a contract with Heimstaden to carry out an extensive renovation of Hostrup Have in the Fredriksberg neighbourhood of Copenhagen. The project includes the replacement of approximately 12,500 square metres of tiled roof, replacement of all windows and complete repointing of all façades.
Hostrup Have was built in 1935-1936 and designed by architect Hans Dahlerup Berthelsen. The blocks are built in a functionalist style rarely seen in properties of this size. Hostrup Have consists of approximately 680 apartments and 30 commercial premises and has its own postcode.
The owner of Hostrup Have is Heimstaden, which attaches great importance to preserving the expression of the neighbourhood. The renovation will therefore be carried out using modern methods but with great respect for the original details. The project is being carried out in close co-operation with Hostrup Have and Heimstaden. The work will begin at the end of summer 2023 and will last for three years. The order value amounts to approximately DKK 155 million.
