The family-run hotel in the beautiful Swedish summer town of Halmstad is quietly located within walking distance of the city centre. The hotel offers 65 rooms, as well as a conference area and relaxation area with both steam and dry saunas.

Hotel Amadeus has long been a family-owned hotel that has stood on its own two feet for two decades.

First Hotels back in Halmstad

The hotel in the beautiful Swedish summer town of Halmstad will be the chain's 32nd hotel in Sweden, and currently the only one in Halmstad.

"It's very nice that we now have a new hotel in Halmstad. First Hotels has previously had a hotel in the city, but that was a few years ago. So we are very happy to be back and be able to offer our guests and members a new and nice destination like Halmstad, which is known for being a popular summer destination, with the beautiful beaches and not least the large selection of golf courses in the area," says Percy Henriksson, Commercial Director at First Hotels AB.

With the new hotel addition, the First chain can now list 32 hotels in Sweden, 20 hotels in Denmark and 5 hotels in Norway.

The new partner hotel will be named Hotel Amadeus by First, and is located at Hvitfeldtsgatan 20, Halmstad, Sweden. The hotel can be booked from First Hotels' website from today.
