Today FM Mattsson Group (”the Group”) has completed the acquisition of Aqua Invent i Lomma AB (”Aqua Invent”). The company is based in Lomma, outside of Malmö, and offers water analysis and solutions to purify water, such as water filters, for private wells and industrial customers. During 2021 Aqua Invent delivered revenue of 16 MSEK, employing 6 people.
The acquisition of Aqua Invent is a further step in the Group’s growth strategy and the business will have a close collaboration with the Swedish sales organisation. Through the acquisition, the Group broadens its customer offering within a clear niche with a focus on sustainability.
“Clean water is an important issue for the future and the acquisition fits well with the development we are looking for with our taps in a more sustainable society. It is an exciting new step for us to offer analysis of water quality and water purification solutions to. We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues from Aqua Invent to the Group and look forward to developing the business together”, says Fredrik Skarp, CEO FM Mattsson.
Initially, the Group’s focus will be to continue developing Aqua Invent’s business in Sweden with the FM Mattsson brand. In the long run, the intention is to establish the offering in more countries.
