Francks Kylindustri expands Norwegian platform through the acquisition of Øyangen

Francks Kylindustri, a leading Nordic specialist in industrial and commercial refrigeration and cooling solutions, has acquired Øyangen AS, a Norwegian refrigeration service and contracting specialist based in Ålesund. The acquisition strengthens Francks Kylindustri’s Norwegian platform, Therma Industri, and further expands Francks Kylindustri’s position in attractive segments such as fisheries, aquaculture and marine refrigeration. Founded in 2010, Øyangen has established a strong position on Norway’s west coast, delivering business-critical refrigeration, freezing and heat pump solutions to customers at sea and on land. The current owners, Bernhard Øyangen and Kåre Lyngheim, will remain active in the business and retain a significant ownership interest, supporting continuity for customers and employees.
