Gapwaves and Valeo entered into an agreement in October 2024 regarding large-scale serial production and supply of waveguide radar antennas for ADAS applications. Frencken Group is now awarded by Gapwaves to produce the antennas developed by Gapwaves in high volume. Gapwaves will commence Start of Production (SOP) in 2025 with an initial ramp-up phase at Gapwaves pilot-line production facility in Gothenburg, where production processes are developed and validated before being transferred to Frencken’s production facility in Chuzhou, China, for automated high-volume production. 
Frencken Group, a global integrated technology solutions company, and Gapwaves have cooperated since 2021 for high-volume production of waveguide antennas. Since early 2024, Gapwaves has been the single source partner for the customers, and Frencken, a strategic production partner of Gapwaves.
