Christian Ander together with representatives from all over the world have started a European project together with the government of Madeira, Portugal, to establish a bitcoin thriving environment.

The project aims to educate business, students, and consumers what bitcoin is, how it works and typical use cases. The IBC, International Business Center, has set up a business-friendly framework to attract startups and corporations who build software solutions and technology and together with F.R.E.E Madeira it is the perfect hub for bitcoin companies.

Goobit’s role in this project is to contribute with its real time AML software and know-how for digital assets such as bitcoin. We will also safeguard that the region of Madeira is not exposed to illicit transactions and sanctioned entities.

Furthermore, our long knowledge of AML and our SaaS services will be freely available for all businesses established within the IBC for a limited time.

The cooperation with the government of Madeira is not expected to have a significant impact on Goobit’s short term revenue It is a strategic investment and will serve as a springboard for further expansion to new markets.
