Goodbye Kansas is proud to announce that it has been awarded a significant Visual Effects (VFX) contract for an upcoming international independent feature film. The project, which the production company has described as “one of the most ambitious projects we’ve ever undertaken,” will showcase the studio’s world-leading expertise in high-fidelity creature work and emotive storytelling.
The production will leverage Goodbye Kansas’s renowned pipeline for creating photorealistic animals that go beyond technical perfection. The focus is on achieving a deep emotional resonance, ensuring that audiences can truly feel the animals' emotions and sense the tangible atmosphere of the environments they inhabit. This award reinforces the studio’s position as a premier creative partner for filmmakers seeking top-tier creative leadership and technical innovation.
Paula Pope, Executive Producer at Goodbye Kansas, commented: “The client chose us because they needed more than just digital assets; they needed characters with soul. Our work on high-fidelity creatures is about capturing the subtle nuances of behaviour and emotion that brings a story to life. By combining our excellent pipeline with our team’s creative leadership, we are able to meet the immense aspirations of this film and deliver the level of quality that has become synonymous with our work.”
Thomas Lindgren, CEO of Goodbye Kansas Group, added: “We are very pleased to secure this prestigious project, which marks another important step in our VFX portfolio. Seeing this VFX momentum grow with such high-caliber projects confirms that we have a solid future ahead of us. It is a testament to our ability to scale our operations while maintaining the financial discipline and efficiency that our shareholders expect.”
This latest contract further strengthens Goodbye Kansas Studios' portfolio in the international film market, highlighting its capacity to handle complex, character-driven VFX for global audiences.
