The Instalco companies Kuopion LVI-Talo Oy and Twinputki Oy have been awarded a joint multidisciplinary installation assignment in Kuopio, Finland. The installations will be carried out in the new construction of the K-Citymarket hypermarket on behalf of Kesko Oyj.
The assignment includes plumbing, ventilation and sprinklers and the contract has an order value of approximately SEK 50 million for Instalco.
“We have been able to offer the customer a package of installations in several disciplines that has been valuable in the procurement. Together, we at Instalco Finland have many good references from similar assignments and we are proud to be able to carry out this major project for Kesko”, says Jarno Holopainen, CEO Kuopion LVI-Talo.
The construction is one of the largest in Kuopio in recent times and the 12,000 square meter supermarket is part of Kesko's expansion of several new stores in the growing region.
The project has started and is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2026.
