Instalco wins hotel assignment in Sälen ski resort
Instalco has been engaged by Consto for an assignment associated with construction of Scandic’s new hotel at the Swedish winter skiing destination, Sälen. The scope of the assignment covers design and installation works for electrical systems, heating and plumbing and automation.
The project, which has an order value of approximately SEK 45 million for Instalco, is being carried out by the Instalco subsidiaries Henningsons El, Grums Rör, Intec and Inmatiq in close collaboration.
The new mountain hotel, Scandic Sälen, is being constructed by Consto in the area between Tandådalen and Hundfjället in Sälen, Sweden. The project is being developed in collaboration between Scandic and Lima Besparingsskog and comprises a hotel with 120 guest rooms, a bar, a restaurant and a wellness area. In addition, eight buildings containing a total of 16 lodges are being constructed. Scandic Sälen will be Scandic's first hotel in the Swedish mountain region.

The hotel is scheduled to open ahead of the 2027/2028 winter season and will be connected to the ski system via a new ski lift. Installation work has commenced.
The project will be classified as a Sustainable Instalco Project and the installation work is underway.
