Intea has signed a new six-year lease agreement with the Swedish Police Authority in Linköping.
The Police Authority is already a major tenant within the Garnisonen area in Linköping and is now expanding its operational premises with a new lease of nearly 4,200 square meters. The premises will undergo an upgrade and adaptation to meet the tenant’s needs and will also be rebuilt to increase the lettable area by approximately 400 square meters.
The estimated rent is approximately SEK 9.2 million, representing an increase of about SEK 3.4 million compared to the current annual rent for the existing lease for the premises. The annual rent is indexed at 70 percent of the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Intea’s share of the investment is estimated to amount to approximately SEK 47 million, and the Police Authority’s access to the premises is expected around the turn of the year 2025/26.
