The Board of Directors of Íslandsbanki hf. has received a demand from shareholders who collectively hold more than 1/20 of shares in the Bank requesting a shareholder meeting be convened where an election for the Board of Directors will be on the agenda. The demand is submitted with reference to Article 84 of Act No. 2/1995 on public limited companies and Íslandsbanki’s articles of association.
With reference to Íslandsbanki’s articles of association and Act No. 2/1995 on public limited companies a meeting shall be convened within 14 days from receipt of such demand, with a minimum notice for a meeting being three weeks and a maximum notice being four weeks.
