Jumpgate has entered into a distribution agreement with THQ Nordic for the upcoming kart racing game Grand Prix of Europe. The game is developed by Jumpgate studio Tivola Games under a license agreement with Mack One (part of the Europa-Park family of companies). The game is based on the upcoming movie Grand Prix of Europe, which is an animated film based on characters from the Europa-Park. The movie will be released in the summer of 2025 in connection with Europa-Park’s 50-year anniversary and is distributed in key territories by Warner Bros with a substantial marketing budget.
The Europa-Park is the second largest amusement park in Europe and the game will be distributed by the park as well as in the common retail and digital distribution channels.
The agreement with THQ Nordic covers all retail distribution in Europe except for sales in the Europa-Park and through the partners of the park.
The game is finished and ready for release in connection with the movie premiere on July 24, 2025.
“We are very satisfied to bring onboard THQ Nordic as distribution partner for Grand Prix of Europe. I know THQ well since many years and have a very good experience from previous collaborations. We now look forward to the release of the game in the end of July, which is the first of three important releases for Jumpgate in the second half of 2025”, says Harald Riegler, CEO Jumpgate AB.
