Johan Kempas (56) has been appointed as Managing Director of Kamux Sweden and a member of the Group Management Team. He will join Kamux on January 1, 2025, at the latest. Johan Kempas will be based in the Kamux office in Upplands Väsby in the greater Stockholm area and report to CEO Tapio Pajuharju.
 
Johan Kempas has an extensive career in the automotive industry. Prior to Kamux, he most recently worked as Managing Director of Hedin Automotive’s Ford sales in Sweden. Earlier, Kempas has worked as Managing Director of Göinge Bil AB, Regional Director of Din Bil, and Brand Manager for the Renault and Dacia brands in Sweden. Earlier in his career, Kempas also worked as an entrepreneur in the used car business for five years.

Johan is an experienced solution oriented team player and he has a strong track record of profitable growth in car related retail chains. In his prior assignment Johan was in charge of 26 stores and over 400 employees. Sweden is an important market for us, where we have taken significant corrective actions, and now it is time to start rebuilding the business. It is great to have an experienced automotive retail professional leading our Swedish business. Aino Hökeberg will continue as the acting MD until Johan starts. Aino has done well in this challenging role and I would like to take the opportunity to thank Aino and her team warmly for their strong contribution. We will gradually transfer the duties, and after the transition, Aino will return to her orignal assignment as Kamux Group’s Chief Marketing and Concept Officer."
