Lekolar will be the exclusive supplier of school supplies and arts and craft products to more than 150 municipalities and other public organisations in Finland. The agreement includes more than 4,500 high-quality products within Lekolar’s product category Education & Play.

Lekolar’s offering matched the strict environmental requirements specified by Hansel for a wide range of products. For example, all school exercise books acquired through the agreement will be labelled with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. The agreement also stipulates rigid requirements regarding transportation and packaging materials.

The estimated value of the agreement is EUR 10 million during an initial period of two years, commencing 2 January 2022, with a possible extension of two years. The total value of the agreement is thus estimated to EUR 20 million.

The agreement was signed by Lekolar in Finland (Lekolar-Printel Oy) and Hansel Ltd, a Finnish non-profit limited company.
