Medclair has signed an additional two orders within the recycling segment in France, to a total value of approximately 1.9 MSEK. The company has thereby established four customers within the French recycling sector – which strengthens Medclair's position among both private and municipal actors. Given the strong establishment, Medclair has now assumed a strategic position as a supplier of solutions for safe and sustainable nitrous oxide.
Procurements in France regarding the handling of nitrous oxide cylinders, with requirements for climate-safe destruction, are becoming increasingly common. Since the waste management operators lack their own technology in this area, Medclair assesses that the company holds a unique position ahead of upcoming procurements and future capacity expansions.
The company sees potential for recurring business when existing customers need to expand their capacity in line with increasing volumes of nitrous oxide waste. Furthermore, Medclair has assisted French authorities with advice regarding the safe handling of confiscated nitrous oxide cylinders, thereby clarifying the importance of climate-friendly handling. Medclair assesses that the large number of procurements and stricter climate requirements create favorable conditions for additional business on the French market.
"France is a large market, we are increasing our activity level and through recycling we have already built a strong foundation for our expansion in the country. France accounts for a significant portion of nitrous oxide consumption in Europe, and as Medclair is increasingly exposed as a system supplier for safe and sustainable nitrous oxide, our brand is strengthened. I am very proud that we have been consulted as experts by authorities ahead of procurements and look forward to more deliveries destined for France”, says Jonas Lundh, CEO of Medclair.
