Each quarter Modular Finance publishes an overview of the development of foreign ownership on the Swedish stock exchange. Data is displayed per list and sector, with a comparison against the corresponding quarter last year.
“This quarter, we note that the telecom and media sectors continue their upward trend for the fifth consecutive quarter. The sector bottomed out at 18.6%, but has since steadily increased to 27.5% today. We have also surpassed the highest recorded level of foreign ownership on the Mid Cap list since the first measurement in 2001, with a share now amounting to 31.6%,” says Harald Wigerstedt, Data Specialist at Modular Finance.
