SIX Financial Information is launching two new free float-adjusted indexes today, the SIX Portfolio Free Float Index and the SIX Portfolio Free Float Return Index.
The indexes reflect the market performance of all companies listed on Nasdaq Stockholm's main lists adjusted for free float. This results in that approximately 28% of the total market value is excluded.
The update of free float occurs semi-annually in conjunction with the revisions in July and January with Modular Finance providing underlying free float data based on the own unique Holdings Free Float (HFF) methodology.
The index is divided into two variants:
- SIX Portfolio Free Float Index (SIXPXFF)
- No adjustment for dividends
- SIX Portfolio Free Float Return Index (SIXPRXFF)
- Reinvests dividends
