Nimbus Group brand Alukin will make its premiere at Fort Lauderdale Boat Show when the show opens in Florida, USA, later today. Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is the world’s largest on-water boat show and at the show this year, Nimbus Group will also be displaying boats from the Nimbus and EdgeWater brands.
As the largest on-water boat show in the world, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, FLIBS, belongs to one of the industry's most important boat fairs. This year, the Nimbus Group will for the first time display boats of the Alukin brand, which has attracted a lot of attention after the recently communicated framework agreement with the Swedish Defense Materiel Agency, for the delivery of up to 100 boats to the Swedish Armed Forces. The agreement covers the delivery of boats and spare parts for up to 15 years and has a total value for Nimbus Group of up to SEK 400 million.
"The order from the Swedish Defence Material Agency has also increased the interest for the Alukin boats among private customers. Alukin's fully welded aluminum boats have become known for their robust construction and great durability, qualities that also attract regular customers," says Jan-Erik Lindström, CEO of Nimbus Group.
