Nord Insuretech Group shifts focus to profitability, portfolio quality and a healthy foundation for growth
After a period of high-volume sales activity, Nord Insuretech Group has entered a new phase. The Company has deliberately shifted its strategy from volume-driven sales to building a more profitable and sustainable insurance portfolio, with a strong focus on reducing the claim ratio and improving portfolio quality.
This transition reflects a broader transformation currently underway in the operating subsidiary of Nord Insuretech Group AB, Digisure AS. The new management group in Digisure is now actively reshaping its operations, cost structure and commercial strategy to build a stronger foundation for long-term growth. The work is hands-on, focused and moving fast.
As part of this strategic shift, the Company has reduced its sales organisation and will from mid-September be able to reflect this in a meaningfully lower cost base. This decision is further supported by the Company's strong belief in a fully digital distribution model for insurance, where customer acquisition and portfolio growth is driven through digital channels rather than the traditional sales approach.
Nord Insuretech Group remains committed to growing the business, but on its own terms, profitably, sustainably and with a portfolio that performs.
Further updates will be provided in the H1 report, due August 28th 2026.
Sales for Q2 2026 amounted to NOK 13.3m, a slowdown from NOK 19m in Q1 2026. This was expected following several factors, including price increases within the car insurance segment.
