OrganoClick's newly launched odor remover product for shoes, OrganoTex Odor Remover, has been named this year's winner of the Scandinavian Outdoor Award in the Sustainability category. The product is certified as 100% biobased, biodegradable and biocide-free.
OrganoTex Odor Remover is an odor remover that neutralizes and eliminates bad odors in all types of shoes, boots, sports and outdoor equipment. The biobased odor removing ingredients effectively encapsulate foul-smelling molecules so that the equipment smells fresh with a natural scent of mint. The products are 100% biobased and certified with the USDA BioPreferred Certified Biobased Product. The products are also verified to be readily biodegradable in accordance with the stringent requirements of the OECD 301F test.
The jury's motivation was:
"I can finally wear my favorite shoes again without having to warn everyone before I take them off," said one of the jury members after using ShoeCare Odor Remover from OrganoTex the night before. The product is manufactured in Sweden from biobased and biodegradable ingredients, which ensures that it meets high sustainability standards. It is easy to use and has a pleasant scent of peppermint.
