2026-08-03 08:30:00

At the Annual General Meeting of Ortelius International AB (publ) ("Ortelius" or the "Company"), Peter Thörn was elected Chairman of the Board and Danne Persson was elected as a new member of the Board of Directors. Together with existing Board member Magnus Pårup, the new Board brings extensive experience in technology, business development, change management, and international operations.

This is an unofficial translation of the Swedish press release. In the event of any discrepancy between the Swedish original and this English translation, the Swedish version shall prevail.

The Board changes reflect the Company's focus on strengthening both its operational and financial development. Ortelius operates in a market characterized by strong underlying demand for Data Readiness and Enterprise AI solutions, while at the same time facing short-term financial challenges. Collectively, the new Board possesses extensive experience in leading businesses through periods of transformation and development, as well as creating long-term value in complex and rapidly evolving markets.

Peter Thörn has extensive experience from senior positions within international technology and consulting companies, as well as entrepreneur-led businesses. His background includes strategic business development, digital transformation, and leadership of complex organizations through periods of change and growth. Peter Thörn is considered independent in relation to the Company, its executive management, and its major shareholders. As of the date of this press release, Peter Thörn holds no shares in the Company.

Peter Thörn, newly elected Chairman of the Board of Ortelius, comments:
"Ortelius has built strong expertise within Data Readiness and Enterprise AI, areas that are becoming increasingly important for organizations seeking to create business value through data and artificial intelligence. At the same time, I am fully aware of the financial challenges facing the Company. I look forward to working together with the Board and management to address these challenges, further develop the business, and create long-term value for customers, employees, and shareholders."

Danne Persson also joins the Board of Directors. He brings extensive experience in business development, digitalization, and change management from senior positions in both the private and public sectors. Danne also has strong insight into Ortelius' operations through Tech5, which became part of the Group in 2025, and will continue to serve in an operational role within the Company alongside his Board assignment. Danne Persson is not considered independent in relation to the Company and its executive management due to his employment with Tech5. However, he is considered independent in relation to the Company's major shareholders. As of the date of this press release, Danne Persson holds no shares in the Company.

Danne Persson comments on his new role:
"Many organizations are investing in AI and new digital solutions today, but the underlying challenges related to data quality, information management, and governance remain. Ortelius offers solutions that address these needs and enable customers to realize the value of their digital investments. I look forward to contributing to the Company's continued development and long-term value creation."

Magnus Pårup remains a member of the Board of Directors and contributes continuity together with extensive experience from both the consulting industry and the public sector.

In connection with the Annual General Meeting, Anders Berglund steps down as Chairman of the Board and Tanu Tandan leaves his position as Board member. The Board of Directors and management would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Anders Berglund and Tanu Tandan for their valuable contributions, commitment, and support to Ortelius' development during their time with the Company.

"Both Anders Berglund and Tanu Tandan have contributed significant experience and strong commitment to the Board's work. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for their contributions and wish them every success in their future endeavors," says Herman Weberg, Interim CEO.
