Four focus areas
Patriam has concluded four focus areas; sustainable business, sustainable social development, sustainable customer offer and sustainable work life. In connection with the sustainability report, a sustainability policy has also been adopted that covers both the ecological, social and economic aspects. "We have set a number of goals in our sustainability policy that we want to achieve, these are ambitious and we are humble about the task, but we owe it to tomorrow's generation to live up to this", says Ylva Hagelbäck.

Initiatives and certifications
Patriam has taken new initiatives during the year to strengthen the company's sustainability work. Among other things, a green bond has been issued, the second bond in Sweden to be certified green by the Climate Bonds Initiative. In addition, Patriam builds houses with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel that are reviewed from a life-cycle perspective, which means a comprehensive approach to the entire construction process, the building as well as its use and management. Furthermore, Patriam has launched Patriam Trygg Affär to create security for our customers who are making perhaps the biggest and most important deal of their lives.
