Prisma Properties has entered into a land allocation agreement with the Municipality of Kalix regarding the development of a new retail area at Näsbyängarna in Kalix. The zoning plan for the area allows for approximately 10,000 square metres of retail and town centre uses, and the land allocation was awarded after Prisma won the Municipality of Kalix’s land allocation competition.

The land allocation concerns the property Kalix 9:170 at Näsbyängarna. The area constitutes the municipality’s eastern gateway in a traffic‑adjacent location along the E4, just outside central Kalix. Through the land allocation agreement, Prisma is granted the exclusive right, for an agreed period, to further develop the project, continue the planning process and prepare the establishment in dialogue with the municipality. The ambition is to create a retail area primarily for grocery and discount retail, complementing and strengthening Kalix’s existing retail offering.

The next step in the process is to further develop the project’s content and timetable within the framework of the land allocation agreement.
