Prisma initiates new retail project in Næstved, Denmark

Prisma Properties has acquired land of approximately 21,000 square meters in Næstved on Zealand, Denmark, for the development of grocery and discount retail. 10-year lease agreements have been signed with two leading discount operators covering a total of 5,200 square meters.

The acquired land is located in a growing retail area in Næstved, directly adjacent to a motorway scheduled to open within the next few years. The area is already home to major retail operators, including Bauhaus and Elgiganten.

One store will comprise approximately 3,200 square meters and the other approximately 2,000 square meters. Construction is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2026, with completion expected in the third quarter of 2027. As part of Prisma’s sustainability efforts, fast chargers for electric vehicles are also planned to be installed on the property.

In addition to the already leased space, there is a remaining building right of approximately 1,650 square meters where Prisma intends to develop grocery retail.
