Prisma Properties (publ) has signed a land allocation agreement with Ulricehamn Municipality to develop a new retail park covering approximately 14,000 square meters. The designated area, totaling around 70,000 square meters, is located adjacent to National Road 40, a major route connecting Jönköping and Gothenburg, making it an ideal location for commerce and services.
Construction is planned to begin in 2026, with expected completion by 2027. The project is expected to create between 200 and 300 new jobs in the region. Prisma Properties has already secured lease agreements with initial tenants, and negotiations are ongoing with several others. The focus of the new retail park is discount retail, groceries, and fast food, meeting the growing demand in the region.
The project is part of Prisma Properties' long-term growth plan to become the leading developer and long-term owner of discount retail properties in the Nordics.
"We are very pleased to have the opportunity to develop a new retail park in close collaboration with Ulricehamn Municipality. The area has great potential, and we look forward to contributing to local growth", says Carsten Krebs, CDO, Prisma Properties.
“The development of a new retail park in Rönnåsen will be a significant boost for the municipality, both in terms of new jobs and increased access to commerce and services for residents”, says Fredrik Linusson, Division Manager of Environment and Urban Development, Ulricehamn Municipality.
