We are pleased to announce that the first five patients with benign prostatic enlargement (BPE) have been successfully treated with the CoreTherm® Concept in Austria. The treatments were performed by MR Prof. Dr. Karl Diehl in Tulln an der Donau.

CoreTherm® is a minimally invasive transurethral microwave thermotherapy for benign prostatic enlargement (BPE). The treatment is performed in an outpatient setting under local anaesthesia and takes less than 15 minutes. No general anaesthesia or spinal block is needed.
