ProstaLund has signed a sales agent agreement for France with the company Surgynal SARL. At the same time, the Company approves the appointment of Med'Arte S.A.S as sub-agent of Surgynal.
Last year, the internationalization process started to countries outside the Nordic region and ProstaLund has signed distribution agreements for a couple of countries within Europe: the UK, Spain, Italy, Poland and Switzerland. Now the next step is being taken in France. Both Surgynal and Med ́Arte has a large network of contacts in French urology and have already during the spring assisted with some of the initial contacts on behalf of ProstaLund. The now signed sales agent agreement is a natural step in the continued joint work to introduce ProstaLund's portfolio in France.
To begin with, the focus will be on local anesthesia prior to prostate surgery with Schelin Catheter® and CoreFlow® Soft Stent as a diagnostic tool. Schelin Catheter® is scheduled to be used in France for the first time in mid-September and today ProstaLund received the first order from the University Hospital in Marseille.
