Qliro has today signed agreements with the e-merchants AB Skruvat Reservdelar and Bythjul Norden AB, both part of the international group Mobivia Groupe. The new agreements include Qliro Checkout for both Pay Now and Pay Later volumes and are expected to contribute over SEK 1 billion in annual payment volume to be processed within Qliro's Unified Payments service. The e-merchants are expected to go live on Qliro's platform in the third quarter of 2024 at the latest. The agreements further strengthen Qliro's position as a leading provider of payment solutions for fast-growing e-merchants.
"In line with our strategy to grow within the Payment Solutions business area, we are delighted to welcome Skruvat and Bythjul to Qliro's platform. Through our checkout solution, we look forward to supporting them with key features for optimised conversion and increased upselling, as well as building long-term customer relationships. We are of course proud to be trusted as a new payment partner for another of Sweden's leading e-retailers and look forward to supporting both merchants going forward," says Christoffer Rutgersson, CEO, Qliro.
"We are excited to start a new partnership with Qliro. They are not just a payment service provider, but a strategic partner who shares our vision of creating the best customer experience in the industry. We look forward to implementing joint initiatives aimed at consolidating our position as market leader in the Nordic region," says Claes Kjelldorff, CEO, Skruvat and Bythjul.
The new agreements, which include services for both Pay Now and Pay Later, are expected to contribute to an annual payment volume of more than SEK 1 billion. The payments will be processed within Qliro's Unified Payments service which was launched in the second quarter of 2023.
The Qliro Unified Payments service is a new, comprehensive offering meaning that Qliro brings together all relevant payment methods, including payment flows and related processes. In this way, Unified Payments simplifies administration and reporting for existing merchants and a faster onboarding process for new merchants.
Within their respective niches, Skruvat and Bythjul are the largest online retailers in the Nordic region. Skruvat specialises in spare parts and Bythjul in tyres and rims. The two companies have a close working relationship and are part of the international group Mobivia Groupe, which operates the largest independent chains of car workshops in Europe, with operations in 21 countries and more than 23,000 employees.
