Seasonal Patterns, Steady Progress
The second quarter brought steady progress, consistent with the seasonal pattern typical of our institutional and academic customer base - a slower start followed by building momentum.
Order intake is steadily building as we enter the third quarter. At similar levels to the comparable period last year and consistent with the seasonal patterns we've seen in previous years, giving us confidence as we head into the second half of 2026.
A major highlight of the quarter was the introduction of Prisma Pose, our new markerless skeletal tracking solution built directly into Qualisys Track Manager (QTM). Prisma Pose gives biomechanics laboratories a practical way to capture motion without markers - with no additional software or hardware investment required. Together with OnTraq for elite sport and our partnership with Theia for more advanced needs, Qualisys now offers a complete suite of markerless solutions tailored to each organization's needs.
The second half of the year is typically our strongest period. With macroeconomic conditions gradually improving, we expect this tailwind to further support performance in the coming quarters. We remain committed to disciplined profitability while continuing to invest in the organization to deliver long-term value.
Second Quarter (April-June)
- Net sales amounted to SEK 54.4 million (55.7), corresponding to a decrease of 2.4 percent (currency-adjusted +3.5 percent).
- Operating profit (EBIT) amounted to SEK 4.0 million (3.4).
- Net profit amounted to SEK 4.1 million (2.8).
- Earnings per share of SEK 0.41 (0.28).
- Cash flow from operating activities after investments amounted to SEK 2.7 million (9.1).
First Half of 2026 (January-June)
- Net sales amounted to SEK 94.4 million (114.7), corresponding to a decrease of 17.7 percent (currency-adjusted -15.6 percent).
- Operating profit (EBIT) amounted to SEK 0.4 million (9.1).
- Net profit amounted to SEK 0.5 million (4.0).
- Earnings per share of SEK 0.05 (0.40).
- Cash flow from operating activities after investments amounted to SEK 2.8 million (6.8).
