Quant Service Sweden AB (“Quant”) has renewed the partnership agreement for maintenance, logistics and waste handling services for the Ludvika site with long-time customer Hitachi Energy Sweden AB. The agreement is renewed from December 2026 to December 2028, with an option for an additional two-year extension beyond this period and is set to generate an average annual revenue of SEK 149 million (EUR 13.6 million) with a total contract value of SEK 298 million (EUR 27 million). As part of the contract renewal, Hitachi Energy Sweden AB and Quant have agreed on a long-term strategic development plan on how Quant will support Hitachi Energy Sweden AB’s growth journey in the coming years.
The agreement includes an option for an extension for a further two years. This is an extension of the previous agreement from 2019 and is going to impact Quant’s contract portfolio value positively.
As part of the contract renewal, Hitachi Energy Sweden AB and Quant have agreed on a long-term strategic development plan on how Quant will actively support Hitachi Energy Sweden AB through its growth journey in the forthcoming years. The focus areas of this collaboration include ensuring world-class occupational health, safety, and environment (OHSE) performance, excellence in all service processes, core competence in technical areas, and leveraging digitalization as a key enabler for enhanced productivity, among other strategic objectives.
