Advanced Radiation Therapeutics goes live with RayCare and TrueBeam

ART selected RayCare® and RayStation® in 2025 for its new state-of-the-art radiation therapy center, established through a partnership between AKSM/Oncology and Urology Associates of The Central Coast. The center is part of AKSM/Oncology’s long-standing network of freestanding radiation therapy centers across the USA. It combines RaySearch’s oncology information system and treatment planning system with the Varian TrueBeam machine, supporting coordinated workflows from treatment planning through treatment delivery.

RayCare supports key oncology workflows, including treatment management, scheduling and care coordination. Together with RayStation, it enables seamless information flow across the radiation therapy process and interoperability with TrueBeam. The clinic has now completed its implementation and is fully operational with the integrated RayCare, RayStation and TrueBeam solution, establishing ART as a USA reference site.

The interoperability between RayCare and TrueBeam was established in 2023. In 2024, Iridium Network in Belgium became the first cancer center globally to treat patients using RayCare in combination with TrueBeam.
