Realfiction Holding AB ("Realfiction" or the "Company") today announces that its Director of Advanced Display Technology, Steen Iversen, has been invited to speak about the Company’s Directional Pixel Technology (DPT) as part of the Symposium programme at the upcoming SID Display Week 2026.
The presentation, titled “Hybrid Scan: A Multi-Viewer True-Perspective Strong Parallax Display With Algorithmically Controlled Directionality”, has been selected as part of the Symposium and is scheduled for Friday, 8 May 2026. The Symposium is a peer-reviewed technical programme featuring selected papers from leading researchers and engineers across the global display industry.
In addition, a technical whitepaper describing the underlying technology will be published in connection with the conference proceedings by the Society for Information Display (SID).
The paper presents a multi-viewer autostereoscopic 3D display architecture capable of delivering perspective-correct depth and natural eye contact, enabling applications such as embodied AI and telepresence. The system combines a fast liquid crystal modulator with a high-speed microLED panel to provide independent, high-fidelity images to multiple viewers simultaneously, with low crosstalk and without pixel blurring, even under strong parallax conditions.
Steen Iversen, Director of Advanced Display Technology at Realfiction, comments:
"We are pleased to present our work at SID Display Week, which is a leading global forum for display innovation. The publication of this paper reflects continued progress in demonstrating the capabilities of Directional Pixel Technology in multi-user 3D applications."
SID Display Week is one of the most prominent international events within the display industry, bringing together leading companies, researchers and engineers from across the global ecosystem.
The Company believes that participation in SID Display Week supports increasing awareness and industry validation of Directional Pixel Technology, which is relevant to its ongoing commercial efforts, including the previously announced strategic review.
Further information about the Symposium is available on the SID Display Week website here.
