• A record volume of 4,494 tonnes of Bio-CNG was dispensed from 13 public access refuelling stations in operation during April 2024, an increase of 42% from 3,173 tonnes in April 2023 (10 stations)
• The average daily dispensed volume was 150 tonnes in April 2024, compared to 143 tonnes dispensed per day in March
• For the three months ending 30 April 2024, the total dispensed volume was 13,024 tonnes, an increase of 44% compared to the three months ending 30 April 2023
• In March, a daily average of 1,705 vehicles refuelled at ReFuels' Bio-CNG stations, compared to 1,346 vehicles for the same period last year

“We are pleased to see a growth of 5% in daily dispensed volumes from March to April and 42% compared to last year, setting a new clear record with 150 tonnes of Bio-CNG per day. The increase is driven by new trucks being delivered during the month, better utilisation of existing vehicles using our infrastructure and an expanded network of refuelling stations. ReFuels’ UK-wide coverage will be further strengthened with one new station opening before the summer and five attractive locations next-in-line to be built,” said Philip Fjeld, CEO of ReFuels.

ReFuels had 168 unique customer fleets refuelling across the network for the three months ending 30 April 2024, compared to 127 for the three months ending 30 April 2023.

Through the CNG Fuels brand, ReFuels operates 13 public access Bio-CNG stations on major trucking routes in the UK. The group has two stations under construction, one in Aylesford in Southeast England and one in Doncaster in South Yorkshire which is one of the UK's largest logistics hubs.
