ScandiDos has reached an exciting milestone in the fight against cancer as the company celebrates 20 years of success as the leading provider of patient specific QA solutions. In addition to reaching 20 years in business, ScandiDos also reached another important milestone – over 1000 delivered Delta4 systems!
For the last two decades, ScandiDos has been at the forefront of innovation in modern radiation therapy, developing software and hardware solutions for patient specific quality assurance (QA). Delivering the Delta4 Family of QA solutions to radiotherapy clinics and hospitals worldwide, ScandiDos ensures that cancer patients receive safe and accurate treatments. Looking back on these years, ScandiDos is proud to have taken patient QA from 2D to 4D, from wires to Wi-Fi, from high maintenance to stability while expanding its global footprint with offices in Sweden, the US, France, Malaysia and China.
ScandiDos´ purpose has always been to support medical physicists with the tools and confidence they need to ensure clinical efficiency, accuracy, and patient safety. A purpose that is further growing in importance due to the use of new treatment techniques such as hypofractionation and adaptive radiotherapy. When radiotherapy clinics invest in new technologies, ScandiDos provide them with equally advanced and efficient QA solutions.
In connection to the 20th anniversary ScandiDos has reached a milestone of over 1 000 delivered Delta4 systems worldwide and counting. This is a great achievement and proof of the company´s ability to provide radiotherapy clinics with the most accurate and effective QA solutions. Over the years, ScandiDos has significantly diversified its offerings to become more adaptive to different treatment techniques and it is today the leading provider of patient safety QA for the most advanced treatment machines such as Accuray Radixact with Synchrony, Varian Halcyon, Elekta Unity and Viewray MRIdian.
