SSEA, a subsidiary of Sentia, has today signed a contract with Gällivare Municipality for preparatory works for the final construction package of the Multi-Activity Centre in Gällivare. The contract value is approximately SEK 180 million, excluding VAT. The final subcontract is expected to be signed medio 2026.

Since December 2024, SSEA has worked closely with Gällivare Municipality throughout the design phase and the first construction package of the Multi-Activity Centre.

The Multi-Activity Centre will become a new gathering place in the heart of Gällivare, offering facilities for arts, culture, sports and social activities for people of all ages. The building will include an experience pool, sports and bowling halls, a cinema, library, restaurant, youth club, arts school, and venues for theatre and cultural events. The total floor area is approximately 20,600 square metres (GFA).

-We are proud to help create a place where people come together across generations and interests. We look forward to delivering a project that unites sports, culture and youth activities, while setting a new standard for sustainable timber architecture, says Christian Wieland, Deputy CEO Sentia and EVP Sentia Sweden.

Time-critical works are already underway, with total project completion expected in 2029.
