• Mini-System 4000 and wirefeeder to be installed at Saroj in India
• Commissioning in the second quarter of 2025; immediate start of CGI pre-production

[Stockholm, 10 February 2025] – Saroj Group, a pioneering and specialized manufacturer of cylinder heads in India for over 60 years, has acquired a SinterCast licence in preparation for the start of series production of Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI). Under the terms of the agreement, a SinterCast Mini-System 4000 and wirefeeder will be installed at Saroj in Kolhapur, India. The SinterCast technology will initially be used for the production of cylinder heads for the export market. The Mini-System 4000 and wirefeeder are planned to be commissioned during the second quarter of 2025 with product validation beginning immediately thereafter. SinterCast will also provide training and technical support for the establishment of a robust CGI series production process.
