[Joinville, Brazil and Stockholm, Sweden 30 October 2024] – Tupy, a global leader in the development and production of cast iron structural components and capital goods, has ordered a capacity expansion for Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) production in Mexico. The expansion of the existing SinterCast process control system is required to support increased demand for CGI from the heavy duty commercial vehicle sectors in Europe and North America.

With seven SinterCast process control systems on seven production lines located in three countries, and more than 20 years of CGI series production experience, Tupy has established itself as the leading provider of CGI components – and knowhow – worldwide.
