Solid Försäkring acquires Garantipartner

Solid Försäkringsaktiebolag ("Solid Försäkring") has signed an agreement with Garantipartner Skandinavien AB (”Garantipartner”) to acquire the assets and liabilities in the business. Garantipartner offers warranty products, mainly for used cars and motorhomes, and currently has partnerships with approximately 470 car dealers in the Swedish market. In 2024, the business reported premium income of approximately 20,000 KSEK.
"We are pleased to be able to complete this deal, which will further strengthen Solid Försäkring's position and role within car warranties in the Swedish market. We see good conditions for growth and earning potential over time in the business, combined with clear synergy effects and economies of scale in Solid Försäkring's total car warranty business in Sweden", comments Marcus Tillberg, CEO of Solid Försäkring.
"Garantipartner has had an exciting journey with strong growth since its inception. The time was now right to find a new owner, who has the ability and conditions to continue developing the business. We are pleased that Garantipartner is now transitioning to a strong and leading player in the car warranty market," comments Mattias Brissman, CEO of Garantipartner.
The brand Garantipartner will remain and be developed with Solid Försäkring as owner within car guarantees in the Swedish market.
The ambition is for Solid Försäkring to take over the business from April 15, 2025.
