SOZAP AB (“SOZAP”), a Swedish mobile game developer known for titles such as ARMED HEIST and Questopia, has entered into an agreement with Supersonic Studios (“Supersonic”), an Israeli based leading publisher in the hyper-casual game market. Under the terms of the agreement, SOZAP will develop mobile game prototypes with Supersonic, with the intent of progressing into full game development.
“The rapidly changing mobile market has forced us to reevaluate our position as a small independent mobile developer. I continue to have a strong conviction that there is a huge potential in forever-games with strong mechanics, like Fishing Tour, but I see that we can develop our studio by entering into partnerships with established industry players like Supersonic.” Rade Prokopovic, CEO SOZAP.
The partnership is projected to have a positive impact on SOZAP's 2024 4th quarter earnings and forward, but the size of SOZAP’s revenues is affected by the financial success of the developed games. It is, at this stage, therefore not possible to state the financial impact of the agreement.
The agreement does not impact SOZAP's ability to service and develop its current portfolio of games and games in development such as ARMED HEIST, Questopia and Fishing Tour.
