Helsinki—22 April 2024 —SSH Communications Security (SSH), a global leader in securing communications for and between humans, systems, and networks, announced a strategic organizational change designed to further strengthen its customer focus and accelerate market growth. The new structure emphasizes closer collaboration between business units and regional sales teams, allowing SSH to deliver even more responsive and innovative solutions to its global customer base.
Alignment by Business Unit and Region:
Business Unit PrivX Zero Trust Suite: Led by Samuli Lehti, this unit focuses on offering, development, and product management of SSH's market-leading PrivX Zero Trust Suite, enabling secure identity-based access control with monitoring, auditing, and recording capabilities, key management, secure system-to-system connections, and data transfers.
Business Unit Secure Collaboration: Headed by Patrik Forsbacka, this unit combines offering, development, and product management functions of SSH's Secure Collaboration solutions. These solutions provide secure human-to-human communication for sensitive data sharing with end-to-end encrypted chats, rooms, video conferencing, mail, and file sharing.
Business Unit Network Security: Under the leadership of Kai Lummi, this unit concentrates on offering, development, and product management for SSH's comprehensive network security solutions, including NQX, a quantum-resilient encryption solution for the protection of critical data-in-transit.
Regions: Three newly established regional units will oversee all market demand, growth, and customer-facing functions, account management, partners and professional services, support, and pre-sales activities. These regions are:
- EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa): Led by David Wishart
- AMER (Americas): Led by Sean McAllister
- APAC (Asia-Pacific): Led by Heikki Koivuaho
