Founded in 2003 by Sami Ylönen and Antti Ryhänen, FinMeas offers proprietary software and monitoring equipment for dam and environmental safety in both active and decommissioned mines. Their solutions automate the collection and analysis of critical data points such as dam stability, groundwater quality, and mine waste — often for regulatory compliance.

FinMeas holds a strong market position in Finland and is also active in Sweden, with clients including Agnico Eagle, Boliden, and Terrafame.
