Jennie Argerich has been recruited to Sveafastigheter as Head of Social Sustainability and Business Developer. Jennie will report directly to the CEO. Most recently she worked at the City of Stockholm, where she was a strategist at the City Executive Office within social sustainability and human rights.

Sveafastigheter manages and develops rental properties in growth regions in Sweden. The property portfolio consists of a wide range of rental properties where the houses are managed and developed with a present and local commitment. Social sustainability is integrated into the business, from the early stages of new production to the management of existing properties.

- With Jennie Argerich we further strengthen our commitment to social sustainability. We will continue to systematically analyze, measure and follow up the effect of what we do regarding social value creation. This means that we, as one of Sweden's largest housing companies, can contribute to the development of our residential areas in a positive way where people thrive and feel safe while at the same time creating homes for more people, says Erik Hävermark, CEO, Sveafastigheter.

Jennie has a wide experience of work with social sustainability and has a background within the City of Stockholm's Development Department as coordinator for social sustainable urban development. She will continue Sveafastigheter's work in the early stages of new production to conduct social value-creating analyses, implement and follow up actions within Sveafastigheter's own properties. Jennie will further work on setting up structures for work with social value creation in Sveafastigheter's existing portfolio.

- In order to reach the goals of social sustainability and safe housing for more people, all social actors need to do their part. Therefore, it feels very interesting that I will now be responsible for the work with socially value in urban development in one of Sweden's largest housing companies. For me, who has long experience of working with social sustainability in the public sector, it will be very exciting to be in charge of these topics and contribute to the company's goal of homes for more people and to ensure that housing construction generates different types of social values. I have followed Sveafastigheter's work with social sustainability for a long time and look forward to developing that work, says Jennie Argerich

Jennie Argerich will assume her new role on October 7.
