Sveafastigheter strengthens its presence in the Stockholm region with the start of construction of 87 rental apartments in Nacka. This is the fourth project Sveafastigheter has initiated over the past year, in line with the company's strategy to realize its development portfolio with a focus on the Stockholm region.

– The construction start in Nacka marks another important step in our ambition to provide more safe and sustainable homes in attractive locations. We have a good and long-term collaboration with Nacka Municipality and we are looking forward to welcoming both new and current Nacka residents to our apartments when they are completed in 2027, says Erik Hävermark, CEO, Sveafastigheter.

The apartments, ranging from two to four rooms with kitchen, will be a welcome addition of housing for all ages in an area with good access to services and public transportation. The project is being built in accordance with the certification Miljöbyggnad Silver and will include features that promote sustainable travel habits, such as a bike workshop and bicycle wash.

- This is more than just breaking ground- it marks another step in the development that brings our vision for Nacka to life: a place where more people can live with both nature around the corner and access to the pulse of the city. With Sveafastigheter as a committed developer, we are taking one more step toward building the safe and vibrant living environments of the future, says Mats Gerdau (M), Chairman of the Municipal Executive Board.

The project is expected to be finished in the second quarter 2027. The rental area is 4,325 sq m. The investment is estimated to amount to SEK 222 million. After the project is completed, the property are expected to generate an annual rental value of SEK 14,4 million.
