TerraNet Holding har fokus inom aktiv säkerhet. Bolaget utvecklar teknologi för tredimensionell bildanalys och radiobaserad positionering för avancerat förarstöd och självkörande fordon (ADAS och AV). Bolagets affärsidé är att utveckla mjukvara till fordonstillverkare, underleverantörer och andra aktörer inom transporttjänster för att därigenom erhålla licensintäkter. Terranet is taking an important step in the development of its anti-collision system BlincVision by launching it as an MVP (Minimum Viable Product). Selected customers now have the opportunity to book BlincVision for evaluation in their own environments this autumn.

“The launch of our MVP now enables potential customers to evaluate BlincVision themselves. We offer the fastest sensor technology on the market — a technology we also see potential for beyond Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Autonomous Driving,” says Lars Lindell, CEO of Terranet.

During the second quarter, the focus has been on evolving the prototype into an MVP — a simplified version of the final product with core functions at its center. The system should be able to detect pedestrians and perform emergency braking in predefined traffic environments. To be considered for evaluation by potential partners, the MVP must be robust, user-friendly, and possible to install without support from Terranet. It should also be easy to analyze the collected data.

Development during the quarter has resulted in the integration of hardware and software into a complete system. A new version of the laser scanner has been developed to improve accuracy and performance. The software has also been further developed, in terms of both data processing and the AI-based model. Test results confirm the technology’s ultra-low latency, which is essential for fast detection time.

Validation and evaluation processes have also been improved to ensure more efficient and reliable testing. These have been conducted in lab environments, on a local test track, and at the AstaZero proving ground. Work is now entering its final phase, focusing on system testing, final adjustments, and performance optimization.

This autumn, potential customers in various industries will have the opportunity to evaluate the technology in practice and explore how it can create value — both as a complement to existing systems and as a standalone solution.
