Vivesto presents Paccal Vet data at the WSAVA World Congress 2026
Solna, Sweden, October 13, 2026 – Vivesto AB, an oncology-focused development company, today announced that the recently reported topline data from the company’s Paccal Vet clinical studies in dogs and cats are being presented at the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) World Congress 2026, through an oral poster presentation and an e-poster, further increasing the international scientific visibility of the Paccal Vet program.
"Presenting our Paccal Vet program at the WSAVA World Congress shortly after announcing positive topline results from both our clinical studies represents an important opportunity to discuss the continued development of the program with veterinarians and key opinion leaders from around the world. Together with our recent participation at the Veterinary Cancer Society Annual Conference, these presentations continue to strengthen the scientific visibility of Paccal Vet within the international veterinary oncology community," said Erik Kinnman, CEO of Vivesto.
The oral presentation includes the most recent survival and safety data from the Paccal Vet (paclitaxel micellar) pilot study in dogs with stage I-II splenic hemangiosarcoma (HSA) following splenectomy, confirming the positive interim results reported by Vivesto in November 2025, which support progression to a pivotal study following completion of the pilot study. Recruitment in the study was completed in June 2026, and topline results were reported in September 2026.
The e-poster presents safety and preliminary anti-tumor activity data from the Paccal Vet dose-escalation study in cats with spontaneous solid tumors, supporting the tolerability of Paccal Vet in cats and suggesting encouraging single-agent anti-tumor activity. Completion of recruitment and determination of the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) were announced in July 2026, topline results were presented in September 2026, and final results are expected later this year.
The WSAVA World Congress, taking place October 13–15, 2026, in Warsaw, Poland, is one of the largest international scientific meetings in companion animal medicine, bringing together veterinarians, researchers and industry representatives from all over the world. The congress provides an important forum for scientific exchange and clinical education across a broad range of veterinary specialties, including oncology.
