The decision to link the credit facilities to the Company’s sustainability targets is a reflection of Volati’s ambitious sustainability strategy. As the owner of successful companies, Volati has a responsibility to set requirements, integrate and monitor sustainability in connection with investments and as part of the companies’ business plans and performance. Linking the sustainability targets also makes it easier for the companies to develop their sustainability targets over time, thereby strengthening their capacity for long-term value creation.

The credit facilities covered by the sustainability link were signed with SEB and Nordea in April 2023 and consist of a loan facility of SEK 1,200 million and a revolving credit facility of SEK 1,400 million. Volati’s sustainability efforts, which can also be found in Volati’s sustainability report, have now been linked as conditions to this financing with focus on:

• Reducing the Group's carbon dioxide emissions
• Ensure an inclusive workplace

The credit facilities run for three years, with the option for a one-year extension on two occasions. SEB has acted as sustainability coordinator during the preparation of the new contract.
