Stockholm, Sweden – May 16, 2025. White Pearl Technology Group AB (Nasdaq First North Growth Market Stockholm: WPTG; OTCQX: WPTGF) today announced that the nomination committee has nominated Mr. Jari Koister to be elected to the Board of Directors at the May 20 Annual General Meeting.
As an executive technology leader, Mr. Jari Koister brings a strong track record of transforming and scaling organizations while uncovering new market opportunities in data, AI, machine learning, and cloud services. He has held senior leadership roles at FICO, Oracle, Twitter, Salesforce, and CommerceOne, where he combined deep technical expertise with strategic vision to drive innovation, accelerate growth, and deliver measurable business impact.
Solid background in entrepreneurship and technology
In addition to his professional expertise, Mr. Koister holds a Ph.D. in Technology and MS in Math and Computer Science. Mr. Koister has also a position of Professor of Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
“With a solid background in entrepreneurship and technology, Jari will bring invaluable expertise and experience to the Board of Directors in WPTG, further facilitating our path to profitable growth both organically and through acquisitions”, commented Mr. Ebrahim Laher, founder and main shareholder at WPTG. “Jari’ has a near perfect background to support our strategy which – as previously communicated – has set a target of 827 MSEK in global revenue with an EBITDA margin of >17% by the year 2028.”
As earlier announced, Mr. Sven Otto Littorin is proposed for re-election to the board and also proposed to be re-elected as chairman.
Current board members Arne Nabseth and Marco Marangoni is nominated för re-election while Mrs Anna Weiner Jiffer has declined re-election.
In the group proposed, Mr. Marco Marangoni is the CEO of WPTG, while the other proposed board members are independent in relation to the company, the management as well the major shareholders.
The nomination committee in WPTG is Mr. Ebrahim Laher and Mr. Bo Lindén, jointly representing a majority of shares in the company.
